The Miami Heat advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014
Let the storylines begin.
The Miami Heat used a strong fourth quarter to secure a Game 6 and series-win over the Boston Celtics, 125-113. Led by Bam Adebayo’s career-high 32 points and 14 rebounds, Miami’s balanced effort included 22 points from Jimmy Butler, 19 from Tyler Herro and 15 from former NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala. The Eastern Conference champions head to the title round to face former Heat star LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. The last time the Heat made it to the finals, James led them there in 2014.
Game 1 of the NBA Finals is set for Wednesday evening.
